Marc Folly is a man who loves flowers and who is interested in even the most conventional of all; the rose.
Surprising, given our contemporary world and the more violent themes to which we are used. His flowers become graphic and the shadows they project are often the strong points of his composition. In another register, his look concentrates just as much on the light of artisanworkshop, harbour quays and various urban places.
